Liver fibrosis can be reversed. Through correct and reasonable treatment, liver fibrosis can be reduced or even cured. In terms of current medicine, it is unlikely to be completely cured in the late stage of liver cirrhosis, and it is basically impossible to achieve the possibility of reversal, but it should still be actively treated.
Warm reminder: irreversible cirrhosis does not mean no rescue. Active, effective and targeted treatment, minimizing the degree of liver injury, improving patients' quality of life and prolonging life are achievable clinical treatment goals.
For the treatment of liver cirrhosis, there is no drug that can directly treat liver cirrhosis.
First of all, the most important thing is etiology and treatment:
● patients with chronic hepatitis B and hepatitis C should first receive antiviral treatment.
● alcoholic cirrhosis requires strict abstinence.
● some patients may have autoimmune liver diseases, including primary biliary cholangitis (PBC), primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) and autoimmune hepatitis (AIH). In case of PBC and PSC, ursodeoxycholic acid is recommended for treatment. If AIH patients consider hormone or even some immunosuppressants for treatment.
● for the treatment of patients with fatty liver cirrhosis, the most important thing is diet control, including weight loss, improving metabolic disorder, and then using some liver protective drugs on this basis.
The essence of liver cirrhosis is fibrosis caused by inflammation. It is very important for the early diagnosis and timely treatment of liver fibrosis and liver cirrhosis. If treated in time, liver fibrosis and even early liver cirrhosis can be reversed.
At present, we are actively studying the therapeutic drugs against liver fibrosis, especially the traditional Chinese medicine Anluohuaxian pill, which has achieved gratifying results.
